"My dolls are unique collectibles, designed and handmade to emphasize their distinctive personalities. A dyed, interlock cotton knit is stretched and smoothed over their porcelain faces and shoulder plates. The fabric's own striations produce an appearance of human skin and soften the look of the doll, creating a life-like quality. Their faces are meticulously hand-painted, giving them expression as well as emotion, and further developing the individuality of each doll as a unique one-of-a-kind creation in and of itself. Their bodies are soft-sculpted cloth complete with teddy bear joints at the shoulders and hips and armatures in their arms and legs. This attention to detail produces a completely articulated doll, easy and fun to pose for use in a variety of vignettes.
